Flywheel Motion Launches

After three years across more than fifty countries, the Edges of Earth expedition found the same pattern everywhere: the solutions to our hardest problems already exist — and almost no one can find them. Flywheel Motion is the fix.

3 yrs in the field
50+ countries
250 locations
450 field case studies

For three years, the team behind Edges of Earth lived where the work is — more than 1,000 days in the field, 800-plus hours underwater, beside the people taking on the planet's hardest problems. They ran nearly 1,500 interviews and produced 450 field case studies. The work was named a Fast Company 2026 World Changing Idea, and co-founder Andi Cross a Digiday 2026 Future Leader finalist. And through all of it, one pattern held.

The solutions are already out there. They work. Communities are rebuilding reefs, restoring harbors, and rewilding rivers at a scale that should be impossible to ignore. Yet again and again the same constraint surfaced: the best ideas on earth get buried — under louder voices that simply understand how attention works now. The bottleneck isn't the work. It's discoverability. And when you can't be found, the funding never comes.

That gap is the whole reason we built Flywheel Motion — a discoverability platform that helps people doing real environmental and mission-driven work get found when an algorithm is deciding what everyone sees. It combines web infrastructure, intelligent publishing, search and LLM optimization, authority architecture, and strategic storytelling into one compounding system. Two hundred attention properties are already on board, with a confidential waitlist of high-impact members behind them. It is a for-profit company built to do good — and early proof the two can be the same thing.

"The best ideas on earth are dying because nobody can find them. People are exhausted by the never-ending bad news — but there's a lot of good happening. We just need to be able to see it when we search for it. Flywheel exists to fix this."
Andi Cross Co-Founder, Flywheel Motion & Edges of Earth
"We have spent our careers making things discoverable for the world's biggest brands. Flywheel Motion turns that same engine on the organizations that actually need it — the ones doing the real work. It's time to build attention properties that shift how the internet serves content."
Thomas Prommer Co-Founder, Flywheel Motion

Flywheel Motion is now in full effect — taking on new members and connecting the people doing the real work with the attention, capital, and partners they need to scale it. The expedition proved these solutions are out there. Flywheel Motion makes sure they get found.
