Our Story

Two paths that split to then converge.

Co-Founders, Thomas Prommer and Andi Cross, originally met inside Huge Inc., a fast-moving agency in New York City. They were building digital platforms, strategies, and large-scale campaigns for some of the biggest organizations in the world. Underneath the success was a growing discomfort neither of them could shake: what were they actually building toward?

Where they met

Thomas had been building online ventures since he was twelve in Germany. Andi had been leading strategy for some of the most-watched brands on the planet. They met at Huge Inc, a digital agency focused on building systems and products for the world's leading brands. Together they understood how influence worked, how media ecosystems operated, how to build visibility, shape behavior, and scale ideas globally.

2018

Both step away, in very different directions

Andi moved deeper into impact consulting, exploration, and environmental work, eventually rebuilding her life around the climate crisis, ocean, and the natural world. Thomas leaned harder into engineering, systems thinking, longevity, and remote-first technology infrastructure. Both decided to live fully nomadically. Their paths moved from place to place, but philosophically they were still after the same question: how do you use modern tools, technology, storytelling, and strategy to contribute to a future actually worth living in?

2023

Andi launches an expedition

Andi decided to launch a multi-year global research expedition designed to investigate what was actually working and what could be scaled across climate, conservation, and community resilience. Instead of theorizing from behind screens, she and her team went looking firsthand via "Edges of Earth", traveling through more than fifty countries, embedding with scientists, Indigenous leaders, conservationists, grassroots organizations, athletes, researchers, and local communities living on the frontlines of environmental change.

04

2018 – 2023

Thomas goes deep on systems, in parallel

After two decades of executive technology leadership across Adidas, Sweetgreen, and Bain Capital, Thomas was moving through a completely different world that, strangely enough, was surfacing many of the same patterns. Through endurance sports, IRONMAN training, remote work culture, and the longevity sector, he became fascinated by human performance, systems optimization, and the ways people engineer their lives for health and fulfillment.

05

The realization

The same disconnect, from both sides

Whether it was scientists protecting reefs in the South Pacific, Indigenous leaders defending forests, researchers restoring ecosystems, or elite athletes redefining the limits of human endurance, they kept seeing the same disconnect: some of the most exceptional people in the world were nearly invisible online. Extraordinary expertise, lived experience, data, and wisdom — but no infrastructure to properly share it. Meanwhile, people who understood attention systems were consistently outperforming them regardless of depth or substance. Visibility was no longer a communications problem. It was becoming a structural one.

March 2026

Flywheel Motion is born

It sits directly at the intersection of everything Thomas and Andi had spent years learning together, and separately. It blends Andi's background in strategy, storytelling, brand building, and frontline research with Thomas's expertise in engineering, systems thinking, intelligent infrastructure, and digital ecosystems. The skills they had developed inside traditional corporate systems suddenly had a much more meaningful application.

07

Today

Still in the field

Flywheel Motion is being built as infrastructure for the kinds of people they spent years meeting across both of their worlds: scientists, researchers, athletes, educators, nonprofits, conservationists, founders, policymakers, and mission-driven practitioners whose expertise far outweighs their visibility. Research expeditions remain the heartbeat of the work — the team is still in the field, still embedding with communities, still searching for the outliers proving what is possible. Flywheel Motion is the next evolution of those findings: a system designed to help the right people become discoverable, scalable, resilient, and impossible to ignore.
